Pokolenia (Generations)

“Generations” is a feature film and documentary, produced on the occasion of the jubilee the Wroclaw Film Studio. It is a story of contemporary Poland told through excerpts of works carried out in the WFS. From four hundred and fifty titles created in Wroclaw, Janusz Zaorski has chosen close to fifty. They are arranged in the story about the Poles since the Nazi occupation, through the terror of the Stalinist era, “our little stabilization”, March ’68, the unfulfilled hopes of the Gierek era, martial law until the elections on 4 June 1989. Zbigniew Cybulski acts as a guide around the contemporary Studio and Wroclaw.
